Advanced Technology You Can Afford

In all of the sleep systems we produce, we provide the most cutting edge technology possible. Using unique combinations of air and foam, we have built products that reduce pressure on the body in an effort to reduce tossing and turning and increase beneficial deep sleep.

Strength At Our Core

Our advanced foam cavity systems are wrapped in an extruded non-woven fabric cover to maintain the clean lines of the mattress and hold the system together. Without this high strength fabric, force on the outer cover would cause sagging, bulging and separation of the air chambers.

The Difference Is In The Details

In our quest to provide the best night's sleep possible, American National has not only concentrated on the big picture, but the details as well. From our patented concave cavity system and reversible covers to our choice of using only the highest quality materials, we have always focused on making sure every aspect of our mattresses is worthy of our name and reputation.

American National sets a new standard for cost effective treatment and prevention of pressure sores. This overlay provides a gentle 2 to 1 alternating action to maximize patient rehabilitation, comfort and tranquility.

An exceptionally quiet control unit is user friendly and attaches to the footboard of most hospital beds. It distributes 8 liters of air per minute and the alternating cycle time is 10 minutes.

A durable mattress containment system holds 22 individual air cells. The mattress is covered with a quilted nylon comforter specifically designed to prevent friction and shear.

Rapid inflate/deflate is available with the optional Quick Inflator at the touch of a button.

American National has a full line of 1 piece and air cell style alternating pressure and low air loss mattress overlays. Contact our Sales Department for more information of the wide variety of overlays currently available.

Adapt Air Non-Powered Mattress System

The Adapt-Air mattress replacement is available as either a powered or non-powered support surface. As a non-powered surface the product provides excellent patient comfort and low interface pressures.

The 12 tri-laminated foam filled air cells are separated into three distinct zones and are plumbed to the ambient room pressure. These cells are designed to provide proper support to every patient regardless of weight. Each air cell is constructed with the highest grade anti-microbial nylon/polyurethane material currently available. The air cells are contained within a high density foam perimeter which creates a smooth transition from the side rail to the air cell.

In addition the cavity is sloped downward in the foot section to reduce the pressure in the heel zone. On top of the air cells is a layer of Visco-Elastic foam as well as a layer of coiled polyurethane foam. The combination of these two foam layers give the patient the pressure reduction they need as well as the comfort they want and deserve.

Add an alternating pressure pump and the Adapt-Air easily converts to a dynamic powered system for additional pressure redistribution and added circulation.
